Evol Adrian Bonkcraft Holness born on June 14,1981 at Kiwanis Clinic. The first of four children from his mother who was a Vendor
in Spanish town, originally from Tivoli Gardens, West Kingston. He grew
up in the different areas, From Tivoli Gardens in west Kingston to
Spanish town (St.Catherine) and then to Greater Portmore. The name Bono G
came from a name given to him as a child which was “Bones” , and later he
modified it and created a stage name.
Bono G attended Epsom City all age School and later Greater Portmore High school. Bono G has always had lots of love for music from the time he was little. He had many musical icons, but the person who he looked up to most in music was his father, who has now passed away. While at Greater Portmore High, Bono G further developed his love for music, and it was only a matter of time before he had the urge to want to contribute to the music business. During lunch time or whenever there wasn’t any teacher in the class he would make beat with his pencil on the desk leading to a trend which later developed to him writing songs and just free styling.
**********************************************************************************
Bono G has many interests and hobbies, he has much love for football, swimming and supricingly for cooking. Upon leaving high school he then went on to try and make a earning for himself so as to help out his mother and to help maintain his younger siblings. \this led him to go through various Jobs in order to make a living, from a taxi man running the Spanish town route, to working at the Island grill restaurant and he at the sametime he would occasionally help out his mother with her shoe business.

these include “ If everything is oki” , and “ love is like a
sweet bitter pain” which seem to be many of his admirers and fans
favorite.

Okay was actually recorded five years ago. What is Love was produced by
Omar Curry for Smart Kid Productions while Jamar 'Ratigan' Kelly
produced Come On. He also has a few collabos

At Greater Portmore High, Bono G was a member of the Vibes Machine
harmony quintet. One of its members was a gangly singer named Cliffroy
Taylor, who went on to find success as roots singer I Wayne. His attension finally came from Gentles who recorded If Everything is
Okay. It was released five years ago but Kelly and Gentles recently
stepped up promotion for the song which about three years ago, according to Bono G, has a
"nice energy."
His musical journey picked up at a high note last year December 2014 when he's music "Island in the Sun" was forwarded by Jahlawrence to Marie Abana of the Reggae Earth United Movement and was featured in the www.reggaeearthunited.com website Play N Vote Top10. What started as collaboration on one song quickly turned into a mutual goal fuelled by their love for reggae, roots and dancehall music.
Zany Lou and True were bitten early by the reggae/ragga/dancehall bug but spent their youth engaged in a broad variety of musical genres such as hiphop, rock, punk, soul and r&b. The love for music eventually lead the two artists onto the path where they met on a summer tour (2006) while working on separate projects. The lack of reggae/dancehall oriented music from Sweden along with the continual minority representation of female artists motivated a collaboration which in the spring of 2008 gave birth to Serengeti. They received recognition for their work early when they just months after starting were invited to perform on the main stage at Europe’s largest reggae festival, Rototom Sunplash Festival in Italy and featured on the Rototom Sunplash official compilations CD “Reggae Girls” released at the 2009 festival. By late 2009 Serengeti released their first official single “Walk With An Empress” with the German label SoundQuake. The Empress riddim release, produced by Swedish reggae sensation and producer Kap10 (Kapten Röd), received positive feedback and airtime on radio shows hosted by Sentinel Sound (Germany), David Rodigan (UK) and Tek-9 Sound (NY). “Walk With An Empress” was on the German Reggae Charts for 7 weeks and ranked as high as 2nd place.
“Standing Steady” – The debut album
Two years of hard work, sweat, laughs and tears culminated into a 15 track album jam packed with pulsating dancehall, modern roots, reggae, soca vibes and afrobeats including the hit singel “Walk with an empress”. Serengeti’s first full length album “Standing Steady” was released april 2010 on the label ILLEGYAL Records which is run and co owned by Zany Lou and True of Serengeti alongside Clara Star. The album features collaborations with Etzia, Joey Fever and Fresharda and productions by Partillo Productions (SWE), Kap10 (SWE), Fresharda & Gifted (ENG), Cornadoor & Berteaux (GER) and Serengeti themselves.

Introducing Lady Louise
In 2009 Lady Louise was asked to join the duo on tour as part of a DJ live set. Before this Lady Louise had made a name for herself as a wicked skilled “onegyal sound” playing shows both in Sweden and internationally. Lady Louise is a prominent feature on the Swedish dancehall/reggae scene since the start of her club Jamrock in 2007. Jamrock is one of few clubs in Sweden which hosts some of Europe’s most established Sounds making Gothenburg the city to visit if you want a taste of the international dancehall/reggae vibes. It only took a few months before the decisions to cement their collaboration was reached and they began working more intensely towards promoting themselves as a crew combining live shows and juggling shows with mc´s. In 2010 Lady Louise together with NuhEasy Productions and Gaza Empire, organised, promoted and backed Jamaican artists Jah Vinci and Popcaan on their first European tour in 2011 and in 2012 Lady Louise managed jamaican artist Charly Blacks European tour.

Jamaican Dancehall deejay Blak Ryno was born on December 1984, Portmore, Jamaica. His real name Romaine Anderson who
grew up in Waterford and attended school at Bridgeport High. Black
Ryno always remained positive despite the negitivity around him. Ryno
used to preform his music talent in high school. It wasn’t until he was
around 16 years of age when he joined up with a Seven man group called
the East Side. From then his love for music continued. Blak Ryno knew
he had to make a big decision with his carear after he left school,
either work or sing. He choose the impossible task to become a DeeJay
in Jamaicans competitive music industry hoping to come out on top.
As time past Black Ryno wanted to advance his singing ability, so he
contacted one of his close friends who was a DJ in the local Waterford
area. He had asked if he could get in contact with Jamaican superstar “Vybz Kartel”
and show him what he can bring to the table. Lucky for Ryno he got the
chance to preform in front of Vybz the following month and executed his
voice and rhythm. Addi Palmer aka Vybz really liked what he saw.
Though Vybz wanted to make sure if Ryno was right for the job by
bringing him to a studio with a very experienced old school DeeJay. He
had given the thumbs up and told vybz he should sign him because he is
right for the job. From that moment on he entered the very powerful “Portmore Empire” camp.
Ryno knew instinctivy that he needed his own style to stand out in
the industry. He had to bring something to the table that you wouldnt
normally hear in the Dancehall music industry. He would had to prove
himself before Vybz would bring him in under his wing. As time
progressed his voice not only changed for the best, but his unique flow
was the missing link in what the industry needed. From the moment he
was able to prefect his talent things started falling on his lap. His
first ever recorded single was Shelle-le-le off of the Siren Riddim in
2005 that got a lot of buzz on the streets. Once talk
got out that Ryno has potential to become a new superstar, major artist
in the industry started to keep an eye on him.
With all of Rynos hard work by proving himself in the competitive market paid off. In 2007 one of the hottest DeeJay in Jamaica Vybz Kartel signed
him officially under the “Portmore Empire”Adidjaheim Records where he
would become Vybz Kartel right hand man. Vybz was able to send Ryno
across the Caribbean to places like Barbados and Guadeloupe to get him
used to live preforming. Ryno preformed as far as France and
Switzerland with a very large crowd. Soon enough Blak Ryno came out
with videos and was able to be put on some of the most popular riddims
that where out in the past couple of years. Some of his hit songs where
Bike Back, Bawl Out and Money Haffi Mek.
As the Portmore Empire was growing tension started rise. Black Ryno
decided to leave the empire and go on his own. This put a dent in the
Gaza Camp because Ryno was second in command to Vybz Kartel and
contributed just more than music. Ryno told a popular Jamaican radio
station “Mi a leave the Empire...” and still claims that he still keeps in contact with most of the members from Gaza.
Blak Ryno is now a free agent and continues on his own to get back to
where he was. Ryno has grown mentally in the industry and keeps
staying on the positive side and moving away the negative vybes.
Interesting Facts:
The name Blak Ryno was given to him by his friends when he used to
play football. Blak because of his completion, and strong like a Ryno.
Its still up for debate weather Blak Ryno’s house was fire bombed, or
there was an electrical problem. (Ryno chooses not to answer that
question)
Might be changing his name to “Ryno Di Stinger“.
Fans speculate that Vybz Kartel was scared that Ryno was going to out
rank him. Blak Ryno verse in Strip Club Medley 2009 compared to Vybz
Kartel.
Feburary 25, 2010 Blak Ryno house was shot up at his Waterford home.

Today i have an issue to put a cross or should i call it a thought? Anyway been seeing alot of us on social media complaining about this and that what happened to the black race ages ago and what seems to be happening now. We have put so much painful history in our minds such that it takes us time to notice the good things that we have and are able to achieve.
Black this black that, White this white that c'mon ya'll. We like the biggest race after the chinese i guess and we keep on complaining of oppotunities, why cant we create some ourselves and help our brothers and sisters?
Hip hop this, hip hop that, yeah you all know what happend to music and its not the fault of those that sing crap, but guess what, they are making a leaving out of it while you are seating there and chewing beef.
We have beautiful models, Actors, musicians, lawyers, doctors and many more successful people of colour and we still dont see the importance of working together as a team to make things better for us all...well this is a point to chew on.... what if yall supported a particular business, what if yall desided to change and focus on building the future, what if yall decided to lend a helping hand on a brother in need, what if yall decide that i will not help the system by posting, sharing or commenting degrading material to our race etc imagine the difference we would make, imagine the stories we would share Hmm just a thought ...#BlackAndProud A head full of tears has no room for creativity #Teambluemoon
Well here is a chance to start support and like my page Deejay Bluemoon
